Multi-tenant HR and payroll platform where workforce policies, payroll rules, pay structures, rest limits, and leave entitlements are automatically calculated and validated across every payroll cycle.

Paycanon is an end to end HR and payroll platform designed to manage a company's people operations across teams, offices, and countries from a single system. Employees, departments, positions, and locations are managed within one tenant, while organizational structures and approval workflows are built directly around real department management.
Company policies can be configured at company, country, office, and individual level. This allows general rules to be defined once and adjusted whenever specific local or employee requirements apply. The same framework manages holiday entitlement, sick leave, overtime, salary structures, currencies, and other employment conditions.
Paycanon supports daily workforce operations including shift planning, bulk roster assignments, employee clock ins, attendance tracking, leave requests, approval workflows, and sick leave documentation. Leave balances are calculated in working days and updated automatically when requests are approved. Medical leave can include supporting documentation, extensions, and status tracking.
Payroll combines all relevant employment and attendance data into a complete salary calculation process. Paycanon supports gross to net calculations, employee and employer contributions, income tax, and additional compensation for weekend work, public holidays, night work, overtime, on call duties, and shift work. The system also supports seniority pay, meal allowances, holiday allowances, split salary payments, monthly payroll confirmation, payslip generation, and spreadsheet exports.
The platform also includes expense management with structured budgets, asset and equipment tracking, employee performance reviews, recruitment workflows, public job listings, document management, and internal company events.
One of the core strengths of Paycanon is its rules engine. Employment requirements are implemented as active system logic rather than passive configuration. Working time limits, rest periods, leave policies, and payroll rules are evaluated automatically whenever relevant information changes.
For example, a schedule that exceeds permitted daily or weekly working limits can be rejected when it is created. Sick leave can interrupt annual leave and return unused vacation days to the employee's balance. Carry over rules can be calculated automatically, while vacation and sick pay can be based on trailing salary averages.
Employment history is evaluated across the complete employee record rather than only the current contract. This allows Paycanon to identify consecutive fixed term agreements, including situations where contracts are separated by short periods. Country specific policies can also determine how particular salary components, benefits, and statutory obligations should be handled.
For companies operating in multiple jurisdictions, the HR experience remains consistent while payroll behavior adapts to the legal framework configured for each country. Paycanon does not apply the payroll assumptions of one jurisdiction to another. Statutory rules, thresholds, contribution rates, and salary calculations are isolated by country and validated through automated testing.
From an engineering perspective, Paycanon is supported by more than 2,300 automated tests covering payroll calculations, HR workflows, policy inheritance, and employment rules. Critical functionality is tested by validating expected results and by deliberately introducing failures to confirm that the test suite detects incorrect behavior.
This approach is fundamental to the way Paycanon is developed. A successful test is valuable only when it has also demonstrated that it can fail for the correct reason.
